Set in a modern-day Irish village steeped in folklore and veiled secrets, Maeve O’Brien is the Lightkeeper of Quiet Hills. Charged with guiding souls from life into death and maintaining the balance between light and darkness, she has kept the town safe for generations.

When Sandra Michaels returns after decades away, Maeve senses a danger that has followed her home. Hours later, Sandra is dead in a suspicious car accident. Her father, Sinclair Michaels, a ruthless developer and head of the town council, frames Maeve for murder and turns the town against her. Sinclair’s redevelopment project promises progress, but he has concealed evidence showing it will drain the town’s aquifer and devastate the farms and livelihoods of the people he claims to serve.

Ancestral visions awaken within Maeve, revealing a darkness older than Quiet Hills and a conspiracy that threatens not only her life and legacy, but the very soul of the town. Exposing Sinclair is the only way to clear her name, yet every step pushes her forward into an epic battle of good versus evil where mortal and spiritual peril awaits at every turn.
